i’m sorry but i’m not even gonna continue with that wank post, some people just don’t understand that rape jokes aren’t acceptable and people should apologize when people get upset by it. there’s no excuse for it, people should see that, and if they don’t, not my problem.
Could you please at least read the articles I presented to you on humor as a coping mechanism for trauma? You don’t have to change your mind on people making any kind of rape joke, but it might help you understand where the victims of sexual assault who weren’t offended by the joke were coming from. Because you can understand someone’s argument without agreeing with them, like how I understood why you and others were offended but I didn’t agree with it.
i understand that humor can be used as a coping mechanism, i get that, but i’m trying to say that j2 should apologize. that’s all i’m saying. they sure realize they hurt /some/ people and say something about it so they can trust and respect them again.
