Just one more thing Max and Dean have in common: They’ve both done horrifying things to bring their sibling back from the dead.

That scene where Max sent Sam and Dean away was SO reminiscent of the scene from the beginning of 2.22 when Dean sent Bobby away and then went down to the crossroads.

But Max didn’t make a deal with a demon. The witch who’d offered to trade up her deal DIED. That was the end for her. Max may have picked up the ring and put his sister’s consciousness in the twig thing, and he even may have used the power in the ring, but did he sell his soul for it? Because he’s already got his own natural power, too. Is he able to use the power of the ring just by picking it up? No Demon Deal Strings attached?

Maybe we’ll find out someday, but I’m not entirely sure about it.
